It has been some what of a miserable month for me. I've have gotten two different flu bugs, this month. Besides not washing our hands after going to our local grocery where all the koodies spread, I have been eating too much sugar. I know what a proper diet is and I own a juicer...so, my I have no excuse. It doesn't help that peanut butter eggs are on the shelves for Easter...yummy!
I could totally live in one of these cottages, raise sheep and make sweaters, soap, and whatever else they do out there. LOL Live by candle light and spend my days walking in the lush pastures. Someday, I would like to travel here. I almost find it more romantic than a sandy beach. Call me crazy. I don't need a bikini on to feel beautiful.
Seems pretty messed up when the movie No Country For Old Men gets a 98% rating! That is my opinion, anyway. Don't get me wrong, the acting was wonderful, but I regret seeing it. I often feel convicted during many movies that I watch. I am not a fan of violence, vulgarity, or nudity for that matter. I wish the movies had rating systems. For example: violence a 8 out of 10 or nudity a 5 out of 10. It would really help me out on deciding what flicks to rent.
I think I spent more than 4 hours yesterday trying to download Free AVG. Finally, I decided I wanted my Norton and Webroot back, so I had to configure my email on it so I could get the security codes (because I had already had subscriptions, before I decided to uninstall them for the Free AVG -crap.) Anyway, after all that, now they say my subscriptions are out of date or it wants me to buy another one because they think I am using it for another computer. What a pain int he *&%^.
This is my second laptop, in 3 years. At least they determined (after 6 months of not having anything) that I could get a brand new one! I never told them that I banged my fist on it a few times...lol But, It sure does pay to have that warranty! Now, when ever I have the urge to terrorize my laptop, I try to think more clearly..but it is really hard sometimes. Anger management for laptop users is essential.
Anyway, I am just babblin cuz I got nothing better to share! Sorry! Really! lol
This painting is by Benedetta. It is on a block of wood. It is so darling. The colors are wonderful and it is such a fun whimsical piece. I have placed it right by my front door. "Cat Friends Welcome"
If you are not a cat lover, I just do not know what to say to you! If you dislike cats, you can just leave. That is my motto! lmao.
I got mad at my mom, once. She told me "A stray was coming by and I started feeding it but stopped because I did not want it to keep coming around." Like it was some beggar. I was outraged! MOM! AHHH. Your horrible! I think maybe I am still mad at her for that and hope the little kitty found some other home to get food. As you can see my parents never bestowed upon me a love of animals. It was a gift from God. Thank you, Lord!
I have been a horrible slacker in the doll making department. So, I have listed one of my recent creations on my WSOAPP Sales blog. I am in the process of creating a black version of this large tote bag, if you are interested, just email or send a comment. It cost me almost $100 just for the material on this bag, so the price listed is not even near to what it should be worth, but a starving artist has got to live!
We worked till the last minute, getting the model unit ready for the first open house. They had some issues with the stucco, so they did not take the scaffolding down. But, other than that, it is looking great.
"That sure does not look like a pre-fab, to me!"
The large painting behind the couch, is the one I whipped out yesterday. I took some paintings of Joan's over to put in the office. They are so colorful..I think they look great. I also put those two mod hook rugs I bought from Lemon Grass Studio in the bathrooms. The colors are exact, I was amazed!
I heard we have 3 showings, today, besides the open house!! YEAH!
