I know...come on get off the mosaics, right? LMAO. I guess, you could say I am procrastinating. Hohum, I got plenty of housework and items to create and all I want to do is waist some time on photobucket. SMIRK.
I had to make this. It matches the last neck warmer I made. I will be posting them both on ETSY, by this weekend.
It is absolutely gorgeous, outside. It was so warm, yesterday, I actually watered the lawn. Our crab-apple trees need a good soaking, so I probably should do that this afternoon.
I need to run to the knit shop and office depot, as well. Sometimes, I don't really feeling like getting out of my pj's to actually go anywhere...lol Oh well, I suppose I need to force myself out of the house!
This is my last neck warmer for the season. I have plenty of other things I will be working on. These neck warmers are all One Of A Kind. That is what makes them special. I have enough yarn in this color to make a matching Ipod/Cellphone purse..like the others. I think pairing them together would make such a fun statement. Don't you?
On another note: I often wonder about downsizing to one blog (beside my alley cat rescue) but I don't want to delete all the wonderful things on this blog and then having to incorporate all my photography on the other. What do you think? Is it weird to have two blogs? I am sure I can continue to update them both. I have plenty of things that I make to share. heehee
I am posting this so I will remember when I want to try PUNCH NEEDLE (which I do), that I can go to Primitives By The Light of The Moon to get a little beginner tutorial. Here is a few of the items she has made
I love this picture of a punch needled pillow by Fully Wooly Primitives. She does amazing work...go check her blog out.
There are a lot of fiber artist who really have inspired me to give it a try.
Did you know every year, I pick up a new hobby...I just realized it all! 2004: Knitting and Furniture Upholstery 2005: Photography; 2006: Abstract Painting; 2007: Folk Art Paintings ; 2008: Doll Making, Crocheting, and Penny Rugs; 2009: Hook Rugs and hopefully punch needle!!! OMG..even to me that sounds like a lot. Well, I do not paint much or upholster furniture, right now, so I guess it is not soooooo baaaad. heehee
If you have a child with ADD. Really, don't drug them up...they will be just fine....look at me! LMAO!!!!!
I really want this doll. I wish I could afford her. She is $750. Ouch. She is made by Joanna Thomas under Inchelina and is listed on ESTY. She is spectacular! She is carved from Polymer clay. What an incredible piece of art. If you are rich and want to buy me a gift, feel free.....PLEASE!!!! (copyright owned by Joanna Thomas)
I snagged this from Carly's facebook. It is a picture of her and my nephew, Ian. Aren't they sweet? To be in High School...ooooh, I do not miss that! It is hard to believe I am old enough to have kids his age.
She seems like a really nice girl. I miss Ohio, especially during the fall. I must make a point to get back real soon!
She is so sweet. Boy, does she have energy. Seems she requires hours of playtime. I think she is a little younger than the shelter had thought. Though, she did have her first litter...that is how she came to the shelter. I cannot imagine her (she is so little) having a litter.
Kitties can get pregnant as early as 4 months. She could be under a year old. She sure acts like a little kitten, somtimes.
And so do my friends. I often bring them here to knit, because it is my favorite spot in my home. They all admitted it was their favorite spot too. I have a tiny view of the Rocky Mountains and downtown from my office window But, who needs that view when I have all these pretty things to look at?
